He said he played golf with a friend who is an ESPN personality and he said that Gruden was rumored to be on the chopping block.

Yes. I have not heard other wise. If I do I will let you all know. So far so good. Jones is still the coach and things can change because as Jake says there are so many moving parts on both sides. But yes I haven't heard anything any different and my news doesn't come from Knoxville lol. And if something happens and it's not Gruden then it will be something stupid.

I did hear of some negotiating at ESPN. I have heard it was the release or buyout although I am not certain of any of this. It sounds to be true.

I'm curious since you're a Memphian...are your sources connected to the Thompson family? My husband knows them pretty well...and I hadn't really even thought about seeing if he could find something out through them until this very moment. Ha!
