As many know, I was against him at the start. I didn’t think he had the “stones” to do the job. If what I am hearing about him is true, I am 100% ready to eat crow.
I have been saying there was a reason Currie didn’t give Butch that extension this past summer and when low was allowed access to the family Butch’s wife knew exactly what a loss to UGA meant.

I think Butch knew it was a do or die year because Currie made it very clear. Currie helped fire the second most successful coach at Tennessee, he understands what losing to Vandy is all about and how unacceptable it is.

I know it’s been said Currie wants to keep Butch and that he was happy with the progress this summer blah, blah, blah. He was saying/ leaking all the right things while I think he has been behind the scenes working on coach Jones to be gone for a while.

Another opinion of mine is that if Currie really wanted to keep Jones, he would have gotten the man some help at his PC’s. It’s what I feel needed a lot of work because Jones comes across arrogant, and is a huge disconnect behind himself and the media and fans.

If you don’t want to keep the guy you allow him to for a lack of a better term hang himself and thus it makes it easier to accomplish your goal of getting rid of Jones while pushing your agenda for changes to be made in order to land the right coach, or at least be able to sell them on the job.

DTO threw in a Grenade and just walked off. Smh

Can’t really say as I blame any of the guys that actually bring in good info. They way everyone on here wants to do body searches on any info is ridiculous. Believe it or not, it’s a message board. I know what some did last time has made people this way, but have faith in something, whether it’s right or not.

I'll say this if haslem takes away gruden from us for his own "shi**y" failure of a football team I hope someone close to him puts eyes drops in his pilot Coffey everyday for the rest of his life

IF this is the case, he would be the most despised person in Knoxville. If Peyton has any involvement, he would take a hit as well.

So if DTO comes in and says "It's done" or something blindly, his post will have 100 likes and the board will blow up, everyone loves him and he's 100% credible.

If he brings bad news, he's a troll and everyone tells him so. Even if he turns out to be correct you guys will say "anyone could've guessed Gruden wouldn't come."

I don't know what he knows, haven't heard a peep, but he was very confident Monday night... Something major must have happened for him to do a complete 180 like this.

I really hope we aren’t getting trolled. Vague info from unnamed sources have me skeptical.

You are unfortunately. I’ve posted good info from a named source but since it’s not vague enough or not far fetched it gets passed over. They would rather hear from an OG that post cryptic text and sets back and watches them act stupid. Even had folks on here blasting me for calling out the liar with the screenshot. I came to the unfortunate realization that this thread was never intended to be a place for people to discuss what is actually taking place. It is a place that is strictly for entertainment purposes only. And that’s cool, I’m still here for that reason as it is hilarious but seriously doubt I post anything else that I believe to be real information in this particular setting. Go Vols

Honestly, without knowing sources, this is all conjecture. I seriously doubt any but the very few at the top of this process have a clue.
