This.
I'm a Bible thumper, I promise you that.
But I ain't gonna try to force anything on anybody.
Everybody's gotta answer to the good Lord on their own.
Be sure you're comfortable with your belief/relationship with/about God ... 'cause eternity is a long time.
That's all the preaching I'll do at this time.
Carry on.
True.
If he doesn't want to coach college football, he should just come out and say it.
Been lurking for a while now and my account got activated just in time for me to officially board this rollercoaster. These threads have been so entertaining they need to be nominated for an Oscar. Regardless of this coaching search's outcome, this has been a bright spot on an otherwise bleak football season for me. Well done.
Oh and..... SOON! I've always wanted to do that.
Lol you can always tell him it takes Tennessee at their worst and Kentucky at their best for that game to ever be in doubt.Haha. I've gat a Kentucky fan at Church that's been giving me crap about the Vols and is confident we lose to them.
Last night I trolled him hard about Butch being fired this weekend, all Vols fan hoping we lose to Bama, Fulmer going to be interim and will be coaching the Kentucky game and Gruden coming. He mad now. Lol.
Offer more money! If Gruden did say no, that doesn't mean much. Saban said no 50 times. If they're serious about him, they'll continue to pursue. Also, I wouldn't doubt that they are putting out some disinformation to squash the rumors. Maybe he said no, maybe he continues to say no. I continue to hold out hope.
