4 hours ago everyone was ready to lynch the guy, and an hour after that everyone was all apologies and make up kisses. This lot is about as bi-polar and gullible as it gets and hundreds (thousands?) of posts flood out the second an “insider” posts ellipses or bread-crumb vagueness that amounts to nothing. If anyone with a 10k+ post count says “it’s done” or “boom” people lose their damn minds and the firework gifs start flowing.

We’ve been here before and not a person here was truly reliable when it came to any sort of rumor regarding Gruden or our last coaching search. Everyone was updating Twitter and watching ESPN as Jones was rolling into Knoxville while losing their collective minds on this forum praying it was fake. But again, short memories I guess.

You you seem to get off on calling people out, are you going for e-cred yourself? Are you fishing for likes? Are you hoping that Gruden doesn't come so you can run around saying "I told you so"? You're as bad as what you're accusing them of.

Let’s just move on. We will all know something by Sunday afternoon if we are mauled by Bama!! We are all passionate fans that miss the glory days and want Neyland Stadium to be a place to be reckoned with again. Right now our program is a laughingstock and has been for several years now. We long for the days of hard fought victory’s and sometimes those crushing defeats but we were still respected. We just have to hope Currie and the powers that be is looking at the landscape and will make the decision of decisions to rid isn’t of this apathy. I would love for Gruden to be our next head coach and there is nothing wrong with this thread because it has brought some excitement to what has been a difficult season to watch. I feel for those young men donning the colors orange and white. They are the ones paying for the poor coaching and training they have received on the Hill. I wish Butch had been fired weeks ago but all I can hope is Currie is doing what needs to be done to get things on right track. Still want the Gru but if it doesn’t happen let’s hope there is someone that will put pride back In the Power T. Go Vols!!!!!

No. Find where I said that.

It was an example of a point. I am speaking in general terms as to why people always get credit for coming clean when they were busted, such as politics, celebrities, etc. The apology comes after something gets out, not when people feel bad about it and want to come clean, but when they were already busted. Just an observation.

EB4H is exposed as a fraud. There’s a part of me that wants to believe that he was trying to ride the coat tales of legitimate sources so he could be whatever it was he imagined himself to be in cyberspace and the other “sources” are legit. But, honestly, it’s far more likely that all of this is BS and we’re going to have to google the resume of our next coach. If I’m wrong, I’ll tip my cap and offer penitence where due.

I need some Grudagra and there is none to be had.

But you know as well as anyone that anytime they get a chance to bash the Gruden thread and they have something concrete (and they did have it) they tell everyone and they all come in full force for the frenzy.
