"So I don't know what all has been posted on here. I've been in practice. Just read through my texts and I'm going to copy and paste a few things from my friends in middle tenn who is on tos and listens to Matthews and is also friends/work colleagues with a current players' dad on the team. It's interesting to say the least:
This from guy stuff I sent during MNF that clay Travis sec county And tons of other ppl started tweeting yesterday.
New Pholks, I am not getting into details right now bc my sources arent too thrilled that I have shared what I shared already with Volquest and had it go viral on SDS.com, Reddit, Clay Travis and others.
With that said, as of this morning, I was feeling 50/50 about the Gru-Man and UT working out a deal even tho I have heard tons of positive info. As of this minute, my confidence has skyrocketed to 85/15!!
This is no troll, and I understand those of you that think I am just fn with everyone. Youre already forgruven even before you bash me on here. But as a second generation UT alum, diehard VFL, I wanted to share my excitement with you all today!
The news that has excited me today was first told to me early this am by a Bama friend who has a lawyer friend. Just now, my pre-established trusted sources are relaying an almost identical message and there is 0% chance either two channels know each other. So, I am rolling with 1 + 1 = 2 right now, and I am as confident as ever (including 2012).
Dont expect anything to be finalized and released for some time since Currie still has to formally fire Butch and then go thru the motions of posting a state job, Yada yada. However, I am led to believe that the foundation is being laid and there is unity and goodwill on all sides of this deal.
Cuss me if you will for making a post with no details... Id share if I felt it wouldnt get me cut off by my sources. But I give my honest, God-fearing word that I am being Gruthful with this post and all prior posts.

The guy who was st meeting today though had this reply:
FWIW, although the Gruden stuff is advancing, I've heard we're far away from the point the OP is articulating. Lots of conversations with lots of names, big and small, are occurring. Not just Gruden.
Matthews- this has to be a heckuva hire.
Fulmer and Peyton aren't gonna get involved unless they are gonna be listened too. Thinks they will be. He knows Phil and thinks Peyton wont endorse anything but a great hire.
Matthews say Big Haslam will have the final say so on hire if he wants it.
He wanted Gruden last time.
Matthews tone sounds like we got a big fish on line. Of course some of his best friends are involved on it.
Guy posted on VQ it's done.

The poster just said it's true. Maybe getting a new strength coach as well. Got a bet of tattoo anywhere on his body except for face and neck if Gruden isn't our coach. Board gets to vote on yup of tattoo. Many know the guy. He went to McCallie
Russell smith on fox radio the drive actually said he can see this happening. Last week he said Gruden to Tennessee was just a dream or something to that extent.
Guys supposedly.... Currie promised some ppl that Gruden would be their guy when we fired Fulmer.... that Gruden is his guy and Big Haslams guy.
The statement about Currie telling people that he would get us Gruden back in 08 came from Doug Matthews according to Dave Hooker
He then sent me the article from

Jay Greeson on ESPN 105.1 in Chattanooga said he has heard from three different sources that Sunday is the day.
Maybe we got our guy?
I broke this info up. Don't know how much is true but it all comes from people who rarely post at all. And family connections etc. take it for what it's worth. Who knows. But wanted to post it here.
