As crazy as it sounds if he would do it Fulmer could step in for fun and old time sake. Would get the fan base happy mostly and could be his farewell games haha. He and the team would have nothing to lose really. Let the coordinators play their roles and Fulmer can make hc calls. Can’t time manage or pep talk any worse than brick boy

A buddy of mine is good friends with Fulmer. He said that Fulmer would be ecstatic to coach the Vols again and he believes that he will be the first one they ask to be interim coach.

I think for the mouthbreathers it’s important to reinterate that NO ONE has said Gruden is coming here. Only that UT is doing their part to get him.

Concur with this. I didn’t believe in 2012 but I believe this time.

Some of these “insider” stories seem hokey and contrived but I think there is smoke here somewhere.

We will see where it leads. I just want a respectable big name coach who can get the job done - no more up and comers for me.

Butch was informed Sunday that we will be going a different direction at the end of the season. He initiated the buyout negotiations. Most has been agreed on but still negotiating. Wasn’t told the specifics of that. Expects Sunday to be the day. On the Gruden front, he said it will ultimately come down to whether he wants to coach or not.

This year, we aint got a shot. If we'd even moved the ball against UGA or put it in the endzone against SC, I'd try to rationalize a path to victory. I just don't see it.
