One other thing, I was staying with my Uncle who lives across the street from the Avila Clubhouse — to play in a Florida Open qualifier BACK IN 2012 — during the last Grudenmania — when I sh** you not, Jon Gruden himself jogged by WEARING A UT VISOR... it was R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S, LOL

This is where THE GRUDE lives, I was in the driveway across from the clubhouse... it was surreal man, I was literally reading the thread the night before like 3 blocks from his house without even realizing it.

I'm inclined to go with Option A. He's legit.

Should be able to drive to Pinehurst in a short time. Tons of nice courses around there. I’d highly recommend Tabacco Road

Would love to play Pinehurst. Went for the US Open a few years ago and it’s incredible. However I work Fire/Rescue which doesn’t pay all that good.

Essentially, we have had a revolt led by dumb dumbs against people providing info. Ignoring was obviously too hard. However, Al Haynesworth tweeted Haslam did something to try to make UT great again. Speculation between whether it was CBJs buyout or ponying up for Gruden. I lean towards buyout.

Vegas odds updated Gruden from +2000 to +1200 so something has to be going on.

Ok, I’m done talking golf. And sorry to go there but let’s just say it’s something I’ve been fortunate enough to gain a lot of knowledge in and have been blessed to enjoy a lot of cool experiences on a lot of awesome courses. I’m sure many others here have also(never got to play Lahinch). Bottom line is I’ve just tried to figure out if some of this stuff is bs and I believe it is. Although, like GreyWolf I believe Matt is legit. But MIT dude I do not believe. The other golfer dude who played Augusta I’m skeptical on.

One more thing, one of my golf friends is the son of Titans DC who was on Gruden’s MNF one on one last Monday. He’s an awesome guy. He knows stuff. But I don’t dare ask and if I did he wouldn’t hang with me anymore I’m certain. TIFWIW
