Why was it surreal and what time of year did you play it?
Man walking down those fairways with the rich history in the fact that tiger, jack, Arnold and all those guys left behind legacies there. It is the most lush and upkept course you will ever play. The greens put you in for the craziest putting day of your life. It's something you can't explain until you experience it. It was something that is one in a lifetime experience.
Ya bro, I had the opportunity to play it two times!!! An artist I train had it written in his contract for a concert he was playing. It was the most surreal thing I ever experienced. You have to know a member to play and even then it's so hard to play. I shot an 81.... the greens r unreal. Amen corner was incredible
I heard the only hold up is making UT a wet campus and serving Corona at Neyland.
and those who get that view really have no need to impress those of us who inhabit the lower altitudes, like us common folk here.
No...there's just something about you that screams "fake" to me. I'm not a blue-blood; i'm an old cop. But i can spot bullsh*t a mile away, and you reek of it.
You're trying too hard for e-cred. You have no reason to be here other than to serve your ego.
So you drive a bmw. Good for you. I paid more for my wife's pathfinder platinum than you would for a good used 3 or 5 series bmw. Color me not impressed.
Mit alums...you know, rich and influential ones like you...are rare around these parts. And much like a picasso at a flea market, they're usually fakes.
I'm just sayin'
go vols.

Just wanted to share this quick nugget:
I spoke with a golfing buddy at my club who is a prominent ESPN personality this afternoon. He went through the restructuring earlier this year unscathed but was forced to renegotiate his contract.
I specifically asked him about Gruden, and his contract he said that he had heard his name mentioned in the rumor mill of those who would be at risk in the next go around, especially right after the craziness where ESPN laid off nearly 100 personalities/contributors.
TIFWIW, those theorizing about this arent wrong maybe JG sees the writing on the wall, or at least its factoring into his decision?
(I have attached a pic to enhance my credibility) LOL
