Anyone have a link to the Hargis article?
Not the second one. I thought it stated gruden pulled out of the running?! Sounds like you know. Tell me what it said??
Several unnamed sources within the UT athletic department told outlets other than the Chattanooga Times Free Press that Gruden has pulled his name out of the running.
Pretty dumb post, seeing as though you're literally doing the exact same thing to what I posted. Think before you speak and all that
But my obsession isn't with your thoughts and opinions, it's with the University of Tennessee, something that I love enough to realize that when we're being laughed at, is time to man up and show the world who we are : A united fan base hungering for wins that re not attached to the delusion that only one man could make possible. It's disheartening that these people have such a low opinion of UT and its capabilities.
I'm just owing going to stop right there, it became redundant to me to continue this rant, particularly to, such an ill conceived quote.
Carry on
The thing that pi$$es me off more than anything is the 'I told you so, you lowly morons' attitude that Hyams, Rucker, Pennington and the Doc crew will have this coming week....nauseating...naw zee ay ting, I tell ya......
Bruin based upon your posts since the Gruden deal went off the rails, you have placed the blame on Gruden and that basically he obviously did not want to come to UT because each time UT (donors and AD) thought the deal was done, Gruden kept throwing out more demands. I believe that you also said Gruden was some kind of attention whore. Is my understanding above correct?
While I don't believe that this is how it went down, I would concede that this may actually have occurred.
That being said, why is it that you absolutely refuse to see the other side of coin? Is it so hard for you to consider/concede that perhaps the fault lies with Hart, as some posters (supposedly in the know) have suggested. Many media sources have commented that Hart has quite the ego, some have even said he is a hard-ass (not in a positive way). Others have gone so far to say that some of the big $$$$ donors do not trust Hart. Hart has been involved in college athletics for years but he does not carry the clout of multi-millionaire agents and coaches and multi-millionaire/billionaire donors-business people. These big-time donors sphere of influence/power extends far beyond the confines of UT.
I guess what I am saying is that either scenario is quite plausible so to each their own. I will close with saying that Hart was wanting to keep Dooley around had he gone 7 and 5 which should make people question his decision making.
