If the Lonzo stuff is true there's still the question of why 2 boosters backed out?Troy was a long damn time ago. FYI this also begs they question what they backed out to do? We're they then going to do nothing, support another candidate at a price that didn't require millions? Lastly did the school still have enough to pay these other rumored buy outs that the big 6 was suggesting we should?
I'm not privy to enough information to condemn Hart but LWS says he has the juice behind him and BCarter hinted that some boosters didn't put their money where their mouth is. Idk

I think Hart made a big mistake which will come back to bite him in the ass. The longer the silence the better, i dont think this gruden drama is the least bit over.

Going through Basketball tickets, not sure why I keep so many when so many get thrown away. Keeping all my football tickets too lol, as will most people. Every person has a ceiling on their value, even Gruden.

Anyone that knows me off the forum wants any Lady Vols or Basketball tickets the rest of the year hit me up, should have extras to most non-conf boys games and about any girls games. Sorry, no offense, but if you do not have my personal info I am no sharing it with any others at this point.

I'm of the opinion that if you see the money get pulled back it means Hart is getting his guy. If Hart gets removed, then Gruden is back on the table/we're completely screwed. But that's all assuming that the power struggle is true. In my fantasy land its all just posturing to fit a timetable that's been laid out.

You guys are serious with this? Hell the GRUDENITES told you boosters did it without Hart so he'd have plausable deniability. I'm not saying the man is innocent but he sure isn't hangable already just because a coach who is notorious for backing out, supposedly backed out.

I agree any other coach coming in this late will not be able to have a great recruiting class or keep half the team jumping to the draft..

Then all we will hear from the ff freaks is look at what the mess he inherited we need to give him 5 years to clean up this mess... Geez our expectation lowered again.

Who ever is hired has to recruit in the top 3 classes in sec every year n can either of these guys do that???? Im don't think so.

The very last piece makes a **** load more sense than all this cloak and dagger Hart in the ointment nonsense.

I don't think they were elaborate "lies" so much as misrepresentations of how far along things were and the "sure thing" aspect of it. I may have said lies, that is the wrong way to put it. Many of these people get their way in almost every situation, and I think they assumed they would here too.

I am not saying they didn't contact Gruden, or even talk to him. I am saying I believe yesterday was the first official contact by a true university representative and Gruden told them he wasn't interested. Thats what I believe anyway.

I'll be happy to eat crow if that turns out to be the case. But the way this went down, imo, Hart is guilty until proven innocent.

I bet Hurd knows who JG is. How is Strong, Fedora, (insert other b level coach here) going to convince the best player in the state to stay here. If they can't do that, how are they going to get good out of state recruits. I'll explain it simply, they won't. Looking forward to recruiting classes outside of top 25 for a top 10 of all time fb program. Pretty sad when u think about it.

What do you mean come back to the table. If you were to believe Lamonte, like you do, then Gruden has never been to the table with Hart.

I don't believe LaMonte. That's what I've been saying. Hart, however, needs to deny the report... or answer to it.

Fair enough, thanks. I still think it's a little odd that several were claiming this was a done deal for a while now. Makes me wonder what the fanbase would be thinking if the Gruden thing was never rumored. It seems like this has put Hart and the new coach in a lose-lose situation.

The next coach needs to be the guy who can convince Hurd to come here.. Because if you can do that then that coach can get anybody anywhere anytime

I mean, I like to assume that people in that high of a position are professionals and know what it takes to do the right things. Because if not, we might as well have hired a high school cheer squad to save money and get the same kind of backbiting and rumor mongering.
