Congrats. The first to crack it. If Hart wants to keep his job he will do what is best for his career.

I'm going to be stunned if Dave Hart is allowed to torpedo everything. How could that actually happen?

Gruden is coming..... I may not be an OG... But I'm still a G-Man...

Gruden, Gruden, Gruden, Gruden, Gruden, Gruden, Gruden, Gruden...gotta believe...

I am confident in saying this whole ordeal is not over money like what is being reported. The people involved are not use to losing or not getting their way and in no way would they allow defeat over a few hundred thousand dollars like is being suggested by some.

Don't to be too quick there Bcarter. Not to play juggling sources, but the primary places I was receiving information is/are/were uniquely positioned to have to first hand knowledge of what was going on. I still think they believed there was an agreement. They are the ones that relayed to me last night things went off the rails. Until then, as recently as 5 days ago, we were good. And if they thought they "had a deal" it wasn't conjecture but bc Gruden said he was coming. That i have no question about. He Was getting his staff ready. you dont do all of that if you're Listening and smiling. That's all I'll say about it.

Now today I was told directly that Hart WAS/IS part of the problem. Don't know details but there is an issue there. TIFWIW

Good job on your reporting. Glad you were here to help.

Liper.... Do you care to elaborate on how Hart "WAS/IS part of the problem"?

I understand and fully believe that Hart did/does not want to bring Gruden in despite the big $$$$ booster's wishes. Am I correct on this point?

Do you know whether the big $$$$ players will try to fix the Gruden deal or is it past the point of no return? If there is no salvage possible, will there be ramifications on Hart?

Didn't say Hart "stopped" the deal. Was only told he...well, apparently he wasn't helpful. And seems he is sort of a stubborn cuss. I have yet to get an explanation as to why things fell apart or Hart did or did not do.

If true then the agent's message is one of two things.

1. Strong message of we are going to make you look foolish, let's deal.

or

2. We're out.

This makes me feel even better if true. Again, Hart will step in line when big money says to. That is how major college athletics works.

It's always possible things could restart given how close this thing was to getting done. However the tone of my conversations last night felt very definitive, ie "moving on." Who knows. Whole things seems amiss to me but what do I know.

Hart needs to be sent back to Bama . Buck fama !!!

Basketvols just lost 37-36. Worst offense we have had in a long, long time. Turnovers and 4 missed FT's in a row cost us this one.

Quick, with a high stupid potential, question...assuming Hart is the cause of the current situation, what is stopping those with the power to remove him, to do just that? I can only figure it is far more complex than that, but shed a little light please.

I don't think this thing is over. Some things just don't add up. There has been entirely too much smoke linking JG to having legit interest in UT. It's possible that the deal could be as far along as some have said without JG having serious conversations with anyone in the utad. If things are close behind the scenes & he can't accept right now for whatever reasons it makes total sense for UT & even his agent to deny reports that were leaking. UT could deny it all & continue interviewing others to throw the fanbase off until the right time. Everybody reporting JG said no & it's over is getting their info from sources in the utad. It doesn't make sense for the majority of the fans, boosters, & even former coaches/players to be wanting JG & Hart doesn't even seem to be all that interested. Just doesn't add up. Jmo

It does seem odd too that Gruden would do all that work over the last few weeks researching college ball and talking to coaches to walk away in one night after all.

Cuonzo is the worst offensive basket ball coach I've ever seen. Unbelievable. I could draw up the offense better than that.

I don't need a "johnny come lately" to the thread Kentucky troll in here pretending he cares about this situation and is concerned for our well being telling me how to feel about our coaching search.

NOW do us all a favor and GTFO

Amen brother.

Something isn't right.

Let's just say this goes on for two more weeks. Then, I have to believe Hart has played the media and the average fan.

Longer this goes on; the more I will believe it may be Jon.
