I am not a smart man.... but I am not dumb either ...

I have raised two children and now raising my grandson.. I can always tell when I am being force feed BS.

And that is what I got today......pure BS

Wanna say one thing...what LaMonte said was in bad taste if he said it...Gruden needs to get in front of this if he really loves Tennessee...this is not a bridge he should burn...

Somebody is lying. I got to know. I seriously doubt Hargis is making this up.

Hart lying. Excuse me; he hasn't said a word. Lamonte: don't have a clue.

Today was a tough day. Tomorrow will be better.

i don't post much on VN, but I do read about everything going on here. I appreciate all the info people bring to the forums. I just want our Vols back on top, and I think Gruden can get us there faster than anyone. I'm still not ready to throw the towel in on this!! Don't know who our next coach will be, but I hope he has as much excitement about our Vols as the people in this thread have had the last couple of weeks!! GBO

Does everyone here believe that - at a minimum - the Gruden family is a friend of UT?

If so, wouldn't Gruden deny interest something like this:

"Thanks UT, but I love ESPN/NFL. But I tell you what, every coach in America should consider that job because it's a GREAT job."

Why would Gruden - a friend of UT - send out his agent to say that we lived in a fantasy world???

Makes no sense.
