Hey guys its been good getting to know each and every one of you. I am done posting in this thread, but will be around. My love for the Vols runs deep, and I want what is best for our guys in Orange. It is very apparent Gruden is not coming, now I am turning to discussion of candidates that I feel are still in the running.

Its been fun, so to those here I have gotten to know away from the forum please keep in touch. There are some high quality dudes here. I just cannot read this any more and spend any more time on this. I have far too much to do. Not bowing out, not running away, just not posting in the Gruden thread anymore.

If anyone has specific questions about my role or information I provided I will check the thread until I leave work about 8pm tonight then I am out. I will answer anything you guys want to ask outside as straightforward as I can. If you want to flame me, have at it. Outside of answering a few questions if anyone has any, this will be my last post in the Gruden thread.

Go Vols, better days are coming even though the name is not Gruden.

:cray: Sorry to see you go bcartervol98. I enjoyed your info and posts. They will be missed by many I am sure.

Havent been in here most of the day, bounced once ppl started saying its over and raging on OGs. Having said that, do we have any hope left?

I have always found your post to be honest and true as much as you could know....

Glad to hear that things are looking up....

I am in till the very in

Gruden 2013

I am with you on this....haven't been here long but with you all til the end!!!

"I am a conspiracy theorist with no ties. What if the deal is done with a MOU signed by Gruden and a few boosters. Leading the horse to water, they insist to Hart that they really want Gruden as the HC, make it happen. This, of course, is a test for Hart and Cheek to see how "much they will do" to make these wishes come about. As the boosters suspected, Cheek meets them about halfway, desperate to keep his job. And Hart closes in on negotiations, but tanks them and goes rogue from the boosters wishes.
Meanwhile, the smokescreens fly to throw everyone off the trail. This is to let the AD and Chancellor dig further holes to try to climb out of. This is why the AD's office and boosters info sometimes seem at odds and ebb and flow.
All the while here incomes a familiar name to the UT family and close POI to the boosters, Fulmer. Everyone assumes this is for HC, but they are positioning him for AD.
This culminates in Hart blowing the negotiations, the boosters cleaning house only leaving J Graham. From here the restructuring starts and with Fulmer as AD and Gruden as HC, with full cooperation from the new AD, Fulmer, and full Big Orange flavored staff, we start a beautiful new reign as champs of the NCAA.

TTFWIW I do not know anything or any insiders, just a conspiracy theorist and VFL. Gruden 2013."

I posted that in Gruden X. I really know nothing. But I looked at it from a different point of view. I still think this might be in play somewhat. While the players might not be the same, the game seems to be afoot. I think there might be a huge power struggle going on that results in some major changes.

Thanks for all the info. You were the one I always watched for with updates. I knew something was up a day or two ago when you had one telling you it's done and the other saying not happening. Appreciate you!

Auf Wiedersehen. See ya, ah well, Soon

My take is cheeks and hart really dont bleed orange. One is from fl the other alabama. Haslams may be figuring this out cause Hart and cheeks dont want gruden due to competition at there previous school. If that is the case everything is making sense. Haslams are going to wipe the slate clean and get rid of them. Replace them with people that bleed orange.

Well if the Gruden threads are on their way out, there is one thing that has been missing in all of them and that is a drum solo. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Dennis Chambers...

Not leaving Vol Nation. I will be in other threads. I am just having a hard time not being "that guy" with regards to the positivity still exuded here. Therefore its best I just leave you guys to it. My posts, or "Novels" as Sparty calls them will not be going anywhere lol. Just will not be about Gruden.

This is the first, and last, time I have or will ever offer up information and did it at the risk of my job. To those that appreciated my candor kudos, to those that always want to be wet blankets, Fah Q.

I am out because there is no reason to continue to pursue this subject. Not anything against any of you personally. I have neglected Facebook, Twitter, and the poker forum I moderate too long lol.

Nah I understand man. Don't blame you. It would just be hard to get us all in the same thread again is all. :hi:

Congrats. The first to crack it. If Hart wants to keep his job he will do what is best for his career.

Some of us know what's up.

The question is, which career is Hart more concerned with....the current one at UT or the hopes of a future one at bama?

To OV,
I am too drunk and too damned lazy to go back and actually quote your post but you said something about flaming you. I will personally knock the SOB's lights out that flames a man who spilled blood, sweat, and tears for the program I love. To me you will always be held in the highest honor. Thank you, sir, for everything.
