He is better than most of the names being thrown out there. Vandy is a developmental institution, not a destination job. This is something that bothered me about the Dooley lovers as well when they would try to make him a bleeding orange direct descendant of Davy Crockett. On a separate note your kick to the marbles post is exactly how I feel. Hilarious.

The things that bother me about Franklin are twofold: He hasn't beaten a team with a winning record (that might sound familiar), and I think he would turn us down publicly if he got the opportunity. I don't want to deal with the humiliation. It's already embarrassing enough with the rival fans piling on us about the latest news that Gruden isn't coming.

All I did was keep it real this whole time, sharing info, and my opinion as to what that info has meant to me. Yes, I am of the opinion Gruden is not coming but other than a few *******s that like to make their ****ty lives with fat ugly wives seem better by "being right", I have been here and open to discuss anything.

Then again there are those that take pride in making others feel bad, so they can feel better about being miserable. I think you are one of those people.

Franklin has done things in a similar academic situation and a fraction of the budget. He would be a HUGE upgrade over Dooley. He is going to win 9 games this year at Vandy. I prefer him to Strong or Fedora.

Not sure. Could be ESPN contractual probs or really wanting to get his last check from Bucs or gosh. Who knows. But. If Espn is reporting it's done then this is some thick thick smoke that wil hang for awhile as give them time for whatever reason

This is crazy, we are ina society for instant gratification and when info becomes scarce we squirm (I do this too). The media is the worst at this, they want a story now, and when they can't have it they get pissy and pessimistic and start speculating. We have to be able to decipher this info, but it is impossible. Hart is letting people think what they want and throwing some bones (wisely placed) hear and there.
