This probably isn't over yet. This is the same stuff that happened with Saban. Moore even went as far as to basically hire another coach. How did that turn out? If this is truly the Haslams and Peyton vs. Hart and the university, we all know who will win in the end, unless of course Gruden just says sorry I wanted to come but even if you get rid of Hart this is too much of a circus for me.

Might as well sit tight and hang because if this is a power struggle, it's going to take a while. If Hart and Cheek are the problems and Gruden is still in, it will probably take the Board of Trustees to fix it - that could take a while, especially over the holidays. If it comes to that, then it could really be a fight since there are still some Bredesen folks on the BOT.

It is UT orange blooded Money VS Bama Master conspiracy!

They've had it out for us ever since, well forever, but ESPECIALLY after Fulmer turned them in 10 years ago! First Dooley, a Georgia native that is a product of Saban, comes in and dives us into the dirt. Now Dave Hart, who suspiciously gets a head job straight from the Bama ranks, is suddenly trying to flex his power over the boosters after only being on the job for 13 months!

If Smart is who he hires he better start looking for a good retirement home somewhere 500 miles from Knoxville. I am starting to doubt Harts abilities. If we had a dominate AD we would have a coach by now. Foley at Florida is the best AD in the country IMO. Maybe we should hire a powerful AD first. I wonder if Cheek hired someone he could control.

You can say what you want... that is your right....but it is not the first time I have ever call Chris Low out for being that hack he is.....

If you had been here for a week or two, you would know...but thanks for your even insightful posts...

That ain't good.... There are only a very few folks putting out solid, credible info and bith of you along with 'Boro are on that list. If Hart botched this he better get a disguise together and be out if town when it becomes official...

I get all my info at work. I saw your posts but had nothing new until I got to work. Now all the info is bad, and I am hating it. Would have such a needed boost for our program.

On the bright side, we will be getting a much better coach than the one that left. It will not be Golden imo.

Again, if the local media had gotten off their a**es and put some pressure on, then everyone would have realized sooner that the "rebuilding" under Dooley was headed for disaster.

Bc he's been in his position 10+ years and over that time has become friends with a ton of VIP. I'm just relaying what he told me guys and now it's been confirmed by 2 people very high up. I wouldn't imagine my brother in law lying to me and I don't expect everyone to believe me. Just passing on what I was told.

Is this the change that Boomer_Vol spoke of in the AD after Gruden is hired? Hart gets terminated due to the way he handled Pat Summitt???

No - I don't know details. That's why I wanted to know what the other guys were hearing. Not much adding up though.

How did assistant pay not come up over the past 6 weeks? I'm still not buying it. That's a very basic thing to agree on.

Hargis=boosters & former players words. Hargis is not some joker. He is being fed info from one of the "Big 5". There are some serious political maneuverings going on.

Dave Hart has never wanted Gruden but knew he had to pursue him. Now he is tying to make it look like he tried to no avail. He half assed it. Period. A third party had the framework in place. Gruden wanted to be here. This falls on Hart.

When you give a guy like Hart too much trust, they screw you. The guy hasn't hired a football coach since East Carolina. It's time to listen to the money and the fans, Dave. Or else retirement will start early for you.

I don't know...with the break-up of his staff at FSU, it sure looks like something is happening there. Also, if there is anything to the rumors of NC and Duke leaving the ACC is true, you have to think a mass exodus is going to take place at FSU.

I like Fisher better than the other options they are talking about. He can recruit and I think the criticism he's been receiving is somewhat unfair. Heck, it took Bowden years to get over the hump there and he finished as a legend.
