Guys he does not want to coach here. I believe money isn't an issue. He just doesn't want to coach college. This is typical Gruden stringing teams along acting like he has with every other team that's came calling.

He has done it many many times to alot of teams. I think his big problem now is while he wants to consider NFL jobs, there are not many(if any) open to use as a bargaining tool. Maybe he wants to draw it out to see if any NFL jobs open up before he decides. Obviously we could not wait that out as we need a HC now. UT has offered the guy the world it sounds like. Let's just move on and hire a HC who wants to be here.

Unlikely. ESPN never breaks news with regards to any of their current employees. See the Urban Meyer hiring by OSU last year. ESPN was basically the last ones to report the news.

Nope. Mort breaks anything to do with major news like this, involving NFL or major personalities. They know that Gruden is getting back into coaching somewhere and they will cover it. They do not want to come off as horses asses.

If it is Gruden, then Dave Hart is the most brilliant AD we have ever had (with all the misdirection and 100% sure people on BOTH sides).

I know no one is right all the time but the way Rucker and Hyams have been on this Gruden deal, if he's hired they should fired! Especially Rucker for bashing vol fans on Twitter. Maybe fired is a tad harsh, publicly admitting they are know nothing idiots will be fine with me!
