If its true gruden wanted complete control over compliance without AD supervision then that's a start. If Haslam made him conceded that control them he could have taken his ball and went home. In that happened I don't blame him

I actually agree. You can't expect Hart to not do his job.

I get why he would be somewhat upset if that's the case, but I think we all can admit that Gruden is the guy.

Eventually, people will get over all of it.

I also think that Hart's hiring ability was probably questioned by the boosters. I have never been convinced that Hart was a long-term guy here, and I think this may end his tenure here in the future.

OK, so I want him here, BUT:

If the holdup is not having enough money to get the assistants he wants, then how about he * cough cough * gives up a little of his salary to fatten up the rest of it? I mean, for God's sake, $5 million? $6 million? what the hell is the difference??

And I don't know if it's in play this time around, but apparently last time, there was this thing about how we would have to give his brother a job, and if/when Jon left for the NFL, his bro would take his place. I mean, what?? If his brother can't carry his own weight and get his own job, why would we have to buy into that?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have CJG here for any number of reasons, but there are some things that I'm choking on a bit. Deal making involves give and take on both sides, and I'd like to see a bit of give on his side for once. I'm getting increasingly uneasy at this whole bend over and cough bit.

I don't know but Travis is right that something weird is going on. The apparent booster leaks have been keeping this story alive, while the AD leaks have been quashing it.

An abnormal number of conflicting rumors have been circulated, even for a coaching search.

Honestly, I think it's just that the less people know, the better for everything.

I would agree. It also could be a turf battle in the sense he won't have as much control of the football program and his ego won't accept it. JMO
