Okay I'm going to let you guys know a little bit about myself personally so you don't go jumping off ledges tomorrow.

I know 2 people that are behind the scenes at WBIR and KNS. They don't write, they don't report.

They tell me what they hear.

Anything you heard from me is regarding anything about this search is from them.

With that said:

KNS is scrambling.

...and both told me that Gruden is a done deal.

For now.

For those just getting on board, the TFP article is very positive, stating the offer is in Gruden's hands. The only hang up is the $$ for his assistants is not what he was hoping for. It's been stated previously that money will not be an issue from the UT side so it seems plausible that UT will give Gruden what he wants $$ wise for his staff. Deal is not done however the earlier report from Rucker may not be accurate, creating the earlier meltdown.
