Evidently, the governor is sticking it to the Memphis media in this deal. Must be some leftover election payback. The Chattanooga Free Times would not run with this story if an offer had not been extended. An offer would not have been made public unless it were going to be agreed to. IMO

I honestly don't know. I heard tonight, as did most of you, that the hang up was $2 million over 8 years for the assistants. That's $250,000/yr spread out over how many assistants? If that's the only hang up, and it may not be, this needs to be wrapped up.

Remember the media has been way behind on all of this....Hart may have just let this scoop out.....it could be done already....who knows?

I'm guessing whatever sourcing went into this article didn't come from Hart.

Moreover, the so-called OGs have been overselling their case, with rumors of 48 hours and Friday press conferences and what not. So I've become skeptical that things are as cut and dried as they've been claiming.
