Man. Step away to grab a bite and get my swell on and bam I miss the best part of the roller coaster today. Up, down, through the loop, and down again it would appear.

We can say that all we want, but I mean guys we gotta start being realistic and try not to be too stubborn... If we don't we are gonna be even more "hart" broken... We cant just sit hear and discredit everyone thats not pro Gruden and say I won't believe it's any other coach until I see someone else announced and standing behind the podium... This is setting yourself up for heart break and you'll never accept the new coach. I'm not saying its not Gruden and I'm not saying it is, but it is time to start thinking clearly and looking at what all the reporters have been saying bc there might be some truth there... This really sucks.

The reporters didn't know anything until yesterday and today, and now are saying they've been negotiating with him and it didn't work out. Mike and MIke ask Gruden about the VOls and he acts like some kid whose had was caught in the cookie jar and then he shuts them down and changes the subject. His friend in St. Louis even noticed Jon was a bit testy and shut them down when he usually likes to tease--and that made him think something might be up. Meanwhile, we have Hart attending basketball games and hanging out like he's not got crap to do. Booster sources are all in, AD sources say somethng else. Now, Boosters are confused. AD sources seem more positive, although won't admit much.

Is this not what has been happening? It's no wonder we feel there's hope.

I have a hard time also believing Gruden wouldn't want to answer to anyone or be monitored as far as Ncaa rules and other junk. I would assume the opposite in that he would want someone around often that would help keep it level, as we are on probation.
He can't be bossless. I've been skeptical that he would sign, and the ncaa rules thing as well as chasing 18 yr olds around, by a rulebook, to try to convince them to play would be a pain in the ass if you have been sitting in a booth and making 15 mil a year in total income.
jmo of course. I have no Gruden contacts, obviously.

Exactly how I feel but the brain fog prevented it getting to a post.

They aren't staying out. A lot of these drop-by posters don't understand that looking at the last 4 or 5 pages only takes you back about 5 minutes. If you're wondering about the OG's you need to either search for their posts by username or spend quite a bit of time going over prior posts.

I think so too.. My guy was spot on with CDD getting canned Vandy week....

He said it a month before it happened..


I also think JG would come out and say it if he wasn't interested with so many ties to the area...

The only thing I really know is that we need to hurry up and hire a new coach because we need these recruits and I know Justin Hunter, Tyler Bray, and Cordarelle Patterson is waiting for a coach decision to see if they are going to return for their last season. Which I am hoping they do come back! I dont know what Tennessee fan doesnt want them to come back!
