Glad to be hear. Exciting times. Fingers crossed that nothing happens at the 11th hour. This has been entertaining to watch unfold…that and the million text messages I get every time sports talk comes on and Hyams tells everyone Gruden isn't a candidate. :birgits_giggle:

The guy has been in football all his life. At one point, he was in the college game.

The concept of recruiting is not new to him. He can easily hire whoever he wants to be a personal recruiting rules assistant if he wishes. This guy looks for the best QB's coming out of college and works with them 1 on 1 to help ready them for the NFL. I have a hard time believing that developing player in college because of scouting and recruiting scares him.

Totally agree--it's not as if he hadn't considered nfl vs ncaa already. Like he's just now realizing that college game is different.

And, my 2 cents, why not pay him more than saban? Write the check!
