I don't know if I believe that any of Rucker's sources are any good. He doesn't know anymore than anybody else at this point. The AD has been locked down and he only knows a little in advance on press conferences. Didn't he call Calhoun in the last coaching search?

Depends on the situation really

Politics plays a part too

Most stuff within a city limits is handled by the PD

But there are exceptions to every rule

Command Staff usually discuss proper actions before orders are sent down and then to specific people

Not unusual for one to not know what the other is doing

Not saying he's lying, but that he might not know yet

He wouldn't lie I am sure of that. I asked him point plank if it could have happened and he not know about it. He responded that it was possible but doubtful. He said it was possible that the KCSD could be involved but he doubted that as well. I know a guy very high in the KCSD too. I'll text him and report back.
