Thanks...this thread is traveling at light spped right now...... I am very confident at 100% until Gruden says no then I will move down to 80%

He survived on Chavis. It will all depend on if he goes with him.

I was hoping the fisher involvement here was just to get FSU in line with the promises they made home regarding faculties and that may still be the case. However the OC leaving FSU to go to Kentucky makes zero sense unless he knows he isn't going to have a job next week. If Friday comes and goes without any news I will then suspect fisher will be our next coach.

Wait - that would make him just like his mentor Johnny Majors. No wait - Johnny did that before every win too (except it wasn't beer and it wasn't exclusive to wins)!

Ok... I am going to give you guys some real info. No need for source, because I am the source. All I can say is I am an IT/Comms nerd. I am not a noob either, just lurk alot. Here goes, The truth.

This will not sound like insider info because it's not a rumor, but fact. Nothing is locked. It is close, but still fluid at the moment. Gruden is still a possiblity, but other candidates are being talked to, and other names will surface through out the process. Friday is not a hard date for anything yet, so don't pin your hopes on that. You can tell very quickly who is in play by who has not shot it down yet, like Stoops has and others. When or if Gruden is no longer an option, you will know semi-officially fairly quick. Things are tight lipped and some of that has to do with the fact that, no decision has been made to really leak. All options are being looked at and there is a process.

Petrino/sunseri 2013...I have reason to believe this will pan out. If not gruden, then that combo along with chaney as oc will be ut's redemption
