I choose to believe Gruden will be our next head coach for these reasons:

1. No denial from either party in any way.
2. No smoke about anyone else.
3. Why the hell would Hart wait for everyone else (Auburn, Arkansas, NC State, etc.) to start their coaching searches at the same time when we had a week head start? With there being limited top-tier HC candidates this year why would Hart sit on his hands and not get a head start on his competition.
4. Hart obviously wants to be the man and no other candidate would bring him the love Gruden would. In fact 90% of the fan base would probably want him canned at this point if he hires anyone else. He has to be aware of that.
5. Fact: He loves this University and has the ego that makes him want to be the guy that restores it to prominence.
6. Confirmed: He has contacted people about possibly joining him at UT.
7. I really want to get HAMMERED with my buddies the night he is announced, singing "Touchdown Tennessee," "Back Where I Come From" (Neyland Stadium concert version with Peyton), "Rocky Top," and have a reason to visit my doctor because I have been experiencing a GrudON for longer than 3 or 4 hours.

I have been on the JG bandwagon for quite some time. Over the past 5 years of mediocrity and downright embarrassment in the SEC, I am truly worried. The magnitude of this hire has been IMO underestimated. UT was once a program other teams circled on their schedule. Now we are just a stepping stone for all the other SEC powerhouses. Who else is going to put UT back into the conversation as a formidable opponent? Who can recruit with the best of them? Who can right the ship and have UT winning 10+ games a year like Bama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and dang it even USCe? Who...Golden? Strong? I find that hard to believe. If that list is truly THE LIST, then it has become quite apparent that UTAD does not have UT football in their best interests and we are destined to become the next doormat. So, lets not kid ourselves, what is everyone's thoughts on who can seriously do this, and be objective please. I have a hard time believing a name like Al Golden or Charlie Strong can honesty compete against Saban, Richt, Muschamp, Miles etc....
