No. And if they did that's a disgrace.

If any of this is true, then Gruden would probably just be finalizing things, getting the fam here, etc. and presser tomorrow IMO.

Agreed. I think he has attitude problems but none severe enough to actually want him gone. Alot of people on here saying get rid of him. I wouldn't want to get rid of a proven quantity.

I agree with this. One learns respect from someone he respects. I got the feeling he never respected Dooley. Not sure about Chaney though.

And he has had a coach that 32 of the 37 schools we recruited during Dooleys tenure give us a failing grade and some said they would no longer facilitate access to their programs. For 3 years. Under that stellar leadership I can see where attitudes could be seen as immature.

I agree 100%. But his antics on the field have rubbed me and other fans wrong, including in the Vandy game. You dont see many elite QB's his age acting that way. They are supposed to be leaders. Jmo

I think gruden would knock some maturity into him. Would love to have a more mature, senior version of bray for sure.

I was told on 11/21 by a reliable source with serious AD connects that an "insane" offer had been made to Gruden and he was thinking about it. I just hope that he spent Thanksgiving with his wife and her family here is East TN while he thought about it. That was last week and anything can have changed by now, if not I think that we have a new coach this week.

If they get him I hope they have a STRONG buyout to protect UT if he goes to the NFL, a lot more than the $800K that Kiffen had to pay.

Gruden is a like a Ferrari. I'm afraid if we don't get him we'll end up in a mustang. Love mustangs and they can be made fast as heck but just ain't a Ferrari. Wish there was a Porsche in the middle in case we don't get the Ferrari.

What kind of car was Dooley?

An assistant AD? Fu***n' give him the keys to the Haslam weekend retreat and let him sit on the TN throne if that's what it takes. I'm starting to hate Hart and his ego.

I am, he loves Coach Chaney. The whole team does. Kids do not dump Gatorade and hugs all around for a coach they do not like after beating the only team in the SEC with a worse record than you. There were many tears shed between Coach Chaney and players-parents after the Kentucky game.
