Confirmed for certain that JH and CP are gone, and have informed UT as such (no surprise from UT on either). Tyler will consider staying if Gruden is hired, but will go into the draft otherwise. Apparently he was told by someone in the AD to wait a "couple days" before making his decision. I got a little more confident hearing that.

Also confirmed the players and their families are just as in the dark as we are with regards to AD info. There was no meeting today and they have not been told Gruden is coming or anything of the sort.

I'll give ya this nugget. Saban told a member of Alabama Power that Gruden had asked him permission to speak to one of coaches on his staff about coming to TN. (He wasn't sure which one but thought it might be strength coach).

I was at the iron bowl this past weekend and that guy is nuts! They actually use him in a video to hype the crowd. He stands on the 35 of every kick off and does a sawed off version of jumping jacks until the ball is kicked. He stands wth his arms up the entire 4th quarter! Crazy!

you were implying that he may have interviewed and agreed to coach at philly - who doesn't currently have an opening.

Im not saying he is going one way or the other but the NFL is pretty clear on your ability to interview and hire without an opening

1) you are talking to a wall.
2) there is that little thing that has been thrown around like ESPN contract says no NFL coaching till 2016.....Don't know if that is the correct year, but I would be willing to bet the extension that he recently signed would stipulate him NOT going to the NFL.
