What are we suppose to tell the number 2 guy on the list.....we offered Gruden and staff 9.4 mill a year but you were our second choice so we are only offering you and staff 4.5 mill to get it done...

2nd or 3rd choices aren't going to work here.....

Gruden's name will not die.....Hart is no dummy.......even if we don't hire him this hire will be looked at as the "hire of crossroads" for this program.....we have thrown a double wide trailer at him.....what do you think he is going to do.....it's time he steps up to the plate and accepts the job.....now when.

You make a lot of sense. Everything points to it being Gruden. But, man, the negative reporting and terrible history of UT's administration makes you hold your breath.

Had an old 1sgt tell me once "It only takes one 'oh shat' to fack up a million 'attaboys'..."

I wonder if our AD can get that one "attaboy" that makes up for all the "oh shats"....

I think their jobs depend on it...

He released me back to work as I am 90%. For those of you that dont know I tore my acl in late March and had surgery late April. Playing basketball. Going back to work is big as the short term disability insurance doesn't pay what a 100% of work week does. Gotta feed the wife and most importantly the little girl. Now here is the cliff hanger. I asked the Doc if he knew who the coach would be. He said the money is together for the guy everybody wants. But he looked at me and smirked and parted with you should find out in a few days.

Thanks DeepSprings for sharing the info! Tore my ACL playing basketball too. Fun rehab, huh? :) Fortunately, I have a PT for a wife. Dr. Beeler from KOC did mine.

Beeler did my first acl a long time ago and my dad's before that. The surgery and rehab have come a long, long way in 20yrs

I want Gruden announced as soon as possible just like everyone else, but doesn't Hart have to at least create the "appearance" of some type of search???

DD was "officially fired" only 9 days ago and the season "officially ended" only 2 days ago!

Just wondering.

LItttle Gruden has apparently toured both Webb and Catholic here in town. - TIFWIW

They say that even a blind dog can find a bone once in a while. Let's hope that is true.
