Not me. If UGA wins the SEC Championship and play for the NC, it will set us back a couple of years in recruiting. Gruden or whoever the next coach is will have to out-recruit Mark Richt, more so than even Nick Saban and get the talent out Georgia. Richt with a BCS NC ring is a lot more dangerous than Saban with another ring to go along with the ones he already has.

I think its a smart move. If the AD is changing the way things work, then CP can sit out the spring get his grades up and come back in the summer. It's not like he will lose anything from that.

IT has been stated several times that we would want him to hit the ground recruiting before the dead period. That is not enough time for anything. I am not saying you are wrong because I have no sources, but I think we will know by this Wednesday the 28th.

Lets be clear on one thing. If he was in the fold and the deal was done they won't be waiting until 12/13 I don't care what the Gruden camp wants to do. Too much of a killer to recruiting with a dead period coming up. This is not time for a two week class like Dooley had 3 years ago. If its Gruden you announce it around sec champ for free recruiting. Maybe no press conference for a week maybe more bit you announce it earlier

He needs help running routes. Spring practice would be ideal, but if we have to lose him for a spring to have hm for the fall, then so be it.

Because we will be in competition with Bama, Georgia and basically everyone else, I believe it is vital to make the announcement of Gruden ASAP to spark the interest on other recruits and re-assure the players we have now that are on the fence about staying.
Let's get the jump on everyone!

If Gruden is pretty much a done deal and the money is worked out, then no reason whatsoever to wait till Dec 13. Makes no sense. If its done, announce right before or even during the SECC game!
