I don't have a sub but, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, he doesn't know.......:unsure:

Not an insider so TIFWIW...

Spoke to a friend today who is in a position to know details, and he is not optimistic. Said that $6mil+ for gruden and $4.5mil for staff is settled, no problem, so in this sense the deal is in fact done. The rub is that this week gruden has asked for "the same level of control that Saban has at bama" and that neither cheek nor hart are willing to go along. Says this is the "issue" that hubbs is referring to, and is not likely to be resolved.

I hope he is wrong.
