When you have like two hundred people with inside connections I guess it is a done deal until someone else gets the coaching job and most will jump on that band wagon and post all their inside info on that person...

I guarantee you that no one at ESPN is worried about whether or not a Gruden announcement will or will not drive ratings.

How much did the average sports fan care about Meyer going to OSU?

I hate burst that fantasy, but it will be slightly more than a blip in the national sports scene. It will certainly be a story, but not one requiring an elaborate coverage strategy.

That being said, I hope it's announced soon.

Yes. I will support them no matter who the coach is, unless they are obviously just giving up on restoring the program back to relevance. That said, would be dumb to hire him while on major probation

My sources are telling me that Jon Gruden will make his choice during the MNF telecast. Tennessee, Arkansas, and all NFL teams will be eligible for his services. If he picks Philly, Andy Reid will be tied up at the 50 yard line and each fan will get the chance to stone him. After this has been completed, Gruden will coach the second half of the game. My sources tell me that ratings will be at an all time high.

From an earlier post, John Majors said the deal is done. He would not say with who. Sounds like Gruden, done, signed, sealed and ready for delivery.i

Lame Kiffen was pronounce dead when he left us with a bag of dog shew shew in the middle of the night like scared little kid running from his mommy. I will always love my Vols but Kiffen is dead in my eyes I wish nothing good for him but he is getting what he deserves soon. His dream Job he is gonna be fired from, I'm sure him and his comb over daddy will be picked up from someone. By next year the NCAA will probably come down again on USC from what he has done there. Pete Carrol will probably go back there to if they say whatis true he doesn't like the NFL.
