I haven't hung around the FF forum in a long time and that's exactly what this place is starting to sound like.

It seems to get this way in the afternoons. Seems like some folks are skipping their nap.

It's all about who you chose to believe. I tend to believe the OGs. I do think Hubbs is well connected. Hyams I am not sure about. I think the local guys are being fed info from people that are NORMALLY reliable but in this case the AD is on lockdown. Hubbs is being purely speculative. He even admits as much if you read between the lines of what he says. I think the OGs info is not from the AD but from other sources many of which are not even tied to the University at all. That's why I chose to believe the OGs because there is so little coming from the local guys. JMO

I have a hard time believing that he will be announced this Monday. I'm sure ESPN will have to release a statement about Trent Dilfer taking over first. I don't think they would name him as the analyst on the same day that he would start the job.

If it was not Gruden... how come the only names leaking out of the AD office never has Gruden on it... They have leaked every name under the sun and not even a mention of Gruden Yes or Gruden NO....

True. It's pretty obvious that the Tennessee fans want Gruden. It is what would make us happy. It is a sure bet that he would fill the seats. It's all the fans have been talking about since before Dooley was fired. Hart would need to be fired if he was that clueless. He HAS to at least try to get him.

Save those emotions for something worthy, this message board is not one of them. It gets frustrating at times, because some people just derive their happiness by causing unhappiness for others.

I just cannot seem to wrap my mind around people coming here and doing that. Its roughly the equivalent of going into the recruiting forum and saying "Recruiting sucks, you guys are all stupid" lol.

If you want negativity and people to call names there is the FF forum right over there, and it contains enough ignorance to fill any negative persons week with material.

Insulting? I don't think iv actually insulted anyone or hurt anyone's feelings. At least I hope not. I questioned them, but that's about it. On the other hand iv been called an idiot, dumb***, and a child all for expressing an opinion that's different than most.

Maybe, but any reasonable would know to take anything said in a rumor forum with a grain of salt. Things like book it, or done, or 100% need to be taken in context, which in this case is a rumor forum.

Some people (not you), act like the ones saying 100% owe them something to back it up. They don't.

Agree world. OG's/insiders owe nothing to anyone and I appreciate the info. But many discredit the media when the info doesn't meet their hopes and dreams and yet put all their faith in anonymous insiders(and I do know one of them). I'm just enjoying the ride and am praying we get Gruden the rockstar.

Me too. Most of us have been around long enough to know that sometimes the media gets it right, sometimes they don't. I mostly ignore them.

Like you, I would rather believe we are getting Gruden and be wrong than to think that there is no way we can get Gruden and be right.

Must be a miserable way to live.
