It keeps getting worse and worse! "That's hard to say. I think Fisher is the only guy Hart has talked to and that was when Hart was at FSU. All of those guys are on our hot board. I think Gruden is the longest shot on that list and I think most would feel that Strong is the best possibility." - Hubbs

The massive army of orcs, trolls, and other evil, disfigured minions, all clad in crimson, advance on the Orange position. At every point they overwhelm their defenses, subjecting them to defeat after painful, humiliating defeat. All seems lost. Even the Orange commander has left his position to scamper back to Bag End.

Then, out of the ashes of despair and the ruins of certain defeat, a light suddenly shines from the heavens, a figure clad in white crests the hill, his staff pointed at the vast armies of darkness.

“You will not pass!!” thunders the voice of the One the Vols have been waiting for, hoping for, longing for during their countless defeats and setbacks. The crimson minions shade their eyes and scream in agonized despair, their leader, Saban, cursing loudly. They know the battle is over. They will not feed on orange today.

Though they have only known defeat, at his very presence Gruden inspires the kind of hope, confidence, experience and knowledge that is able to snatch victory from the jaws of certain defeat, and that is exactly what he does. He rallies his troops, recruits reinforcements, then leads the battered Orange to long-awaited, sweet victory over the Crimson hordes and their leader, sending them packing, tails between their legs, back to Mordaloosa.

That's my Gruden fantasy - what's yours?

Works for me.

Confirmed.
He was spotted buying chickens at the Crump Flea Market last weekend.

Afterwards Gruden was seen writing something on a scratch pad, which he then handed to Manning. Those who saw this from a distance, reported it was hard to tell definitely what it said because it sounded like some kind of secret code.

Those who saw it say it said something like this, "After the possum ran under the rock, the cow then jumped over the moon."

SOON.

"Jimmy Hyams reports this morning the talks with Gruden have broken off. They could not reach agreement. The A list includes, Mike Gundy, Bob Stoops, Al Golden, Jim Mora Jr, and Charlie Strong." - TOS :banghead2:

Please don't post jimmy hyams quotes in this thread he is a total reject and knows nothing bout the situation and is blowing smoke

Here come the daily rollercoaster ride....quite entertaining. Ya'll have a Grude day.....:good!:

Because its 2012 and money talks sadly. Even to the people who don't need the money. That's why.

Money talked in 1912. If he doesn't come to UT, it won't be because of money. For that same reason, he will not be at Arkansas. All opinions not based on anything but common sense.

I think if we don't get Gruden it will be bc of control or money issues and he will end up at Arkansas if he even still wants to coach in college if it don't work out with UT. If that happens then Stoops, Mora, or Strong is still 100% better than Dooley.

You haven't learned yet have you? Other than UT there is no other college job that Gruden will take. Plain and simple. I don't understand how hard that is for people. He loves UT and if he doesn't coach here, it is in the NFL.

Because its 2012 and money talks sadly. Even to the people who don't need the money. That's why. Isn't jimmy Johnson from Oklahoma? We'll he went and coached at the U. In the Espn show he said even though he's from said school his heat will always be with the University of Miami.

Not in this case, he doesnt need a job he already has one and can be selective. Arky supposedly already has their coach after Gruden said nope. If guessing its Sonny Dykes.

Most likely he ends up here but if not he is not going to Arky, thats a 100% guarantee. He has already told them nope and they have already moved on.

They have not moved on. The peeps at grudenville believe just like most of us do. They are passionate as much as we are.

40 S&W... Otherwise known as the 40 Short & Weak... haaaaa...

I kid of course, it's just that I am a M1911 fan..

I would not trade my springfield 1911 for anything . I love my glock but theres something about a hollow point .45 .

Am I the only one who think that Hyams may be getting fed bad info on purpose because of his arrogant line of questioning at every turn.

Hey Jimmy, here it the real scoop. Grudens out, Sonny Dykes and Willie Taggart are #1-2 on the list, after that plan c is Phil Fulmer. He is the only one to " unite" the fan base again. This is on the down low so don't be shocked when you are the only one reporting it. OK? Thanks Jimmy

This makes more sense. Hate to say it. Hyams has been right here lately. He's said Dooley is a bad coach. He said Bray isn't a leader, and he said he didn't think Rodgers would be on the team at the end of the year. He also said Sal was a mistake. The guy I hate the most is accurate.

Exactly. I swear I dont understand some people continuously thinking he is going to Arky. Zero times 10 chance he goes there. Its UT or the NFL if he's coaching. And if Dilfer is already prepared to take over MNF and talked to college assistants with UT ties then he's coming to UT.
