Morning Coasty & GMan. Quick story. I went to an after Thanksgiving dinner last night and one of my friends who is a big Cane fan was telling me no way my Vols get Gruden. Nobody down here in Miami believes it will happen. However, they all acknowledge that if we were to get Gruden it would make a huge splash in recruiting with his personality and glamour! I hope I get to tell them "I told you so"!!!!

Gruden is going to Kentucky. Calipari is going to help pay his salary. I just confirmed this with one of my very close friends who is a huge UK booster.

In a totally hetro way I just wanted to say I really enjoy the folks in this thread when it is not being trolled. Lots of good folks, once all this gets figured out and we have a new coach (hopefully Grude) we all should get our own forum or take over the NBA forum or something....just sayin'

I believed the escalates being used for touring recruits around was possible and within the rules as long as the weren't allowed to drive but if we have a contract with Lexus then this story is bogus.

You are right for the coach's personal cars but I believe I've seen them roll in Escalades during game day. I could be wrong. I'm hoping that this falls into the "pay for transportation" to campus clause below. I think limos aren't allowed but not sure about Escalades. I highly doubt compliance would let anything slip by at this juncture. Who knows this guy could be FOS too.

I don't think this is necessarily favoritism by the Mods. I think there are times when different Mods are on duty and they have different tastes as to what is acceptable and what is not. And they Mod accordingly.
