Saban NFL win %-.469
Spurrier NFL win %-.375

Gruden is already 1-0 vs Saban and 1-0 vs Spurrier (in regular season)

Couldn't hurt to assume that he'll do well

Seems like its taking forever, but as Lex said earlier....the info leaked at the very early stages of this. We've been aware much longer than we would have been normally. That microscope make it tough.

There is really nothing else to hear based upon what I heard, and who I heard it from. I've said that all along.

All you can do know is watch how the AD, Boosters, and Gruden control the flow of info.

No one is the next Saban. We just need a qualified coach who is passionate, will rally the fanbase, and win games. Gruden does exactly that!

Says he believes Jon Gruden is interested in the Tennessee job over any NFL opening. This according to a VQ poster who heard him on 106.7 (The Fan), which is out of DC. I'm going to see if I can track that down and confirm it, but it sounds legit. Interesting news, gentlemen.

Whose crazier the one typing it or the one reading and posting it here? There's certainly enough activity in our own worship threads not to need those of rival camps.

Yeah I could not understand what his NFL winning % had to do with anything. If anything going off his win % would mean he'd be a legendary college coach when comparing his % to Saban and Spurrier.

Jimmy Johnson had an NFL win % of .555 FWIW

When this happens it will be an epic moment in UT football history. Like the hiring of Johnny Majors away from Pitt, and the NC in 98'. I'll probably have a heart attack when the announcement comes!
