A couple of weeks ago I was rocking my daughter (11mos) back to sleep sometime around 3:00 in the morning. While in the chair I began to see apparitions in the room. There were three dancing in the crib and another sitting in the chair. I was not scared. I rather enjoyed their company.

Sounds like some good drugs you were enjoying right there.

I think Patterson is realizing that it's not so easy competing in a major conference with WAC talent, and that long term, TCU will have a hard time competing for the same recruits as OU, Texas, etc. Even though they are well coached, and still overachieve, they are struggling as much as Utah is with Wittingham, in the PAC 12.

At least with a major program like UT, he has all the resources he needs to compete with the elite in the SEC

I live in Fort Worth and have posted on here many times that I didn't think you could get Patterson to leave TCU. But, there might be some truth to this. Patterson might see that he will never be able to outrecruit UTjr (nobody does in Texas), but the fans will expect him to win that game regularly.

He might also recognize that his stock will never be higher than now, and may actually go lower with each season.

I've changed my mind. He might be in play.

Ahhhh that was you that went to go see Peyton. I wad daydreaming hours ago wondering where you drove from? That's dedication to go see him that far away.

Originally, the game date was attractive, because I figured I'd see the Vols in the same weekend. I ended up skipping the side trip to Knoxville to save some money.

Not only did you save some money, but saved your time.
