Some of the people in the know with recruiting said a lot of the top 4-5 star guys that are currently wavering would most likely commit with the right HC hire, specifically Gruden. Dont' know all the names but it appears that we'd be in a great position to finish very strong before signing day.

You don't need to be in the know to know that.

I see what STL is saying. I think we land Mario Pender last year if he wasn't an EE.

I just call em like I see em. Our depth has improved. But it doesn't matter if you have 10 guys at each position, what matters is if they are good enough to compete.

I believe AJ is good enough to start on quite a few SEC teams.

Dooley did not do well at all in recruiting this year. There really isn't that many top players looking at UT. UT could probably pull Vonn Bell, Derrick Green, Ej Levenberry, and maybe Carl Lawson and Ramsey, but even with all that, we still probably wouldn't break the top 10. Mike Shula recruitied much better than Dooley his final year and Nick Saban still barely pulled in a top 10 class. Its not like the other schools have scrub position coaches or recruiters. It will be a battle this year to pull in a recruiting class that won't set us back. If anyone can do it, its Gruden, but the recruits have never even met him.
