Ditto. At some point, it just gets too ridiculous. So many good coaches could be had for less. We could get Stoops for less than that...and he's a truly proven college coach.

Let's not forget that if Gruden starts winning, his salary and years will only go up. At some point, NO ONE can afford numbers like that.

Just a guess but I think Larry changed his tune about bigtime money being spent for a hire when he got got wind of the 18mil deal with cheek. We all assume it was done for Gruden but it sure seems Larry doesn't agree with that.

Larry info is normally from ad contacts who are on lock down. I was leaning toward his info but after te hart press'l conference and this recent move by cheek I am starting to believe this is real and the boosters in did have stepped up to take control. So what is typical dream rumor by boosters they may have finally realized that they can make dreams come true

Let's not forget that if we are winning, the revenue goes up allowing us to pay the salary.

I had some Va tech kids at my house recently, we just chanted 6 rings over and over until they decided it was best to stop talking. felt like a bama fan doing that but whatever works
