Strong rumors this afternoon linking Vanderbilt coach James Franklin to the Arkansas job. We're told Gruden is likely out, that Patterson (at least for now) has decided to stay at TCU and that Gundy appears out of reach well.

Wogan was on the radio Sunday after the Dooley announcement, and was laughing about the Gruden rumors. If he does a 180, it proves the leaks have accelerated the timeline imo.

He did say however that he thinks it's in the realm of possibility and he trusts Dave Hart to make an informed decision


Cheek said that the NFL and NCAA are very different and he questions how someone with no college coaching experience would be able to adapt


He said his primary hesitant come from working with Spurrier at Florida as he did not do well in the NFL.


I asked Chancellor Cheek, "How do you feel about Jon Gruden?" His response was not terribly direct. But he said he was hesitant.

In the middle of his speech Chancellor Cheek had to pause to put Dave Hart on hold #Grumors

Just walked in to a meeting with the Chancellor. I fully intend to ask him about the Gruden rumors
