The only problem I have with what a lot of people are saying is about the last check from Tampa Bay. I understand Tampa Bay wanting a non-compete clause as far as NFL coaching goes but why would they give a rat's patootie if he coached in college. This is the one thing that I have serious concerns about when people use it as a reason that things are changing. It just doesn't compute. I have my fingers crossed and hope he's coming. It's been a fun ride one way or another.

It would be real short. I just happen to know people. Most are outside the athletic department at Tennessee. There are others that have great inside connections. I'm just lucky to know some folks and have become friends with some very connected people.

Through all this, I've gotten to know Jay and Boro and consider both of them friends. I'm definitely buying the beer and wings next time I'm in east TN.

Got to meet Beecher in Nashville and will have a beer with him too.
