Just processed the last part of this post. Love it that the drunk bear left Neyland a loser.
Oh heck yeah. I remember going to my first game around 1966. Been VFL ever since. I'm just 62 so I can still remember a lot of up's & downs. So excited when Majors came home in '77 I believe. I lived in Alabama then, and boy was I taking some beatings. I always would have to say "wait til next year", but that didn't happen for 11 in a row. Finally I got my say in '82 when Bama came here, ranked #2, undefeated, with the Bear, and we sent him home a loser on his last visit to Neyland. Loved it.

Wow. I wish I had the tradition of Vol ball you have. I came along in the Fulmer years. Wish I could have seen Majors coach the team.

Well, hopefully we'll get to see Gruden coach this team very soon. GBO....I'm out. Cya tomorrow (or today) considering the time.

My favorite game of all time was going to that '85 UT Auburn game where we whipped Bo Jackson and his number 2 ranked team's behind. I was 12 or 13 at the time, and man, that was the rowdiest crowd I'd ever seen. Period. I can only think of the '98 FLorida/UT game matching it in intensity. Fun, fun game to watch at the stadium. To this day I've never heard people stomp so loud in my life, nor have I ever heard a chant the way they did to Bo Jackson. Bring Bo back, bring Bo back, bring Bo back.......
