Spider 2 Y Banana seems like a decent play on 3rd and 1....

And inside the 10. More often than not the CB will jump the TE route and depending on the coverage. In cover 2 the CB will squat in the flats most likely. In man coverage- the CB will have #1 receiver on his side (TE in this case) and will run with the banana route. The LB usually has back out of backfield and since it's play action, the fake is designed to hold the LB to allow the FB to slip out in the flats. In covrr 3 the corner will jump the TE route leaving the LB to cover back out where the play action comes into play again usually leaving the FB in the flats open.

Cat people ITT.

I have a Maine Coon-Himalayan mix. He is huge, doesnt use a litter box he goes out like a dog then scratches to come back in. If we didnt live on a wooded lot that has a lot of raccoons and possums we would install a cat door lol.

Awesome. Those Maine coons get big!

So I still can't figure out what tells then which way they are running it? I guess you always run it toward the tight end side, right?

By looking at it online it is designed to be run to the strong side and by what Jay said the QB reads coverage and gets ball to FB or TE.

Edit: srong side being side TE is on

Ok, so spider 2 versus spider 3 is a slight difference in protection only?

Someone else said that about 30 minutes ago. I am a slow learner
