Figured we needed to start a new one.
I do ask to please stay on topic in this one. I know we are just waiting for news at this point, but keep the thread on Jon Gruden, or on the coaching search. This is not the Endzone.
So I'll start: Does Dooley get fired this week? And if so, when do you expect an announcement if we get Jon Gruden?
Did you say you were a minister? Or is that someone else? I lost track.
Either way, the flock gets scared, they go to church, they get comforted and reassured that Jesus is coming...
Alot like going to church IMO....LOL.
Yes I am. No, you are right, just saying it isnt only purpose of church but your point is well made, i should have just acknowledged it and not complicated it. My bad. :hi:
No worries sir! Maybe I oversimplified it and wasnt too clear.
Stupid post. 15 games over .500 over 11 seasons in the NFL is pretty impressive, actually, because it is a more level playing field than in college.
Your boy, Nickky, learned that the hard way. Now what was his pro record? And how many Super Bowls did he win?
Not a stupid post. But your reply is hollow and stupid.
Yes his overall record is 15 over .500. But his SuperBowl season is 11 of the 15 over .500.
His record doesn't give me this great fuzzy feeling that he is a sure fire winner. Especially the fact his record is in the National Felon League and not College. It takes a whole lot more ability as a coach in college than the pros.

Hey Bear Bryant,
You know what is awesome? This:

Hey, I know. By the way I've been a Tennessee fan all my life. I have blood relatives with their names on the Wall of Fame which is on the UT campus. 4 of them to be exact. My daughter graduated from UT in May 2010.
From West Tennessee.
I'm just wondering why so many of you Dooley haters think Gruden is such a surefire guaranteed success. His record doesn't give me that kind of confidence.
