This is the guy who was on the Sports Animal the same week that Phillips came to UT. Had to be the third week of July because I was on vacation that week.

Jimmy and John had him on to talk about the Gators and immediately after he was introduced he interrupted J&J to tell them that he did not want to talk about the Gators but about UT. He said that he had information out of Tampa that Derrrick Dooley would be fired after this season and John Gruden would be the new UT coach. I asked several people if they had heard this at the time because it was strange. John & Jimmy acted like they were taken totally off guard by the statement at the time.

He has mentioned it off and on down here. Coworkers have told me more than once that they heard someone say that on 1010.

I wish those I know could be this optimistic. Long day at work hearing negative after negative but then again these are people that work around it but in no way are involved in the process.

Maybe my today is your yesterday lol. There's always tomorrow. Not backtracking or being negative just frustrated. I really was convinced there was an announcement coming and not because of VN posts.
