True. I literally would have bet anything we would have heard something from the AD today one way or the other.

Its the things that make no sense that astound me. No way all the chatter was just bogus, something happened between last week and this week. Just want something, anything from them to let us know what direction we are headed.

Skeeter didnt post what he posted last night for kicks. Something was supposed to happen that didn't, and I just hope it is not what I am afraid it is.

What did Skeeter post last night? What did he say about this situation?

I said Gruden would not affect the "current players". Dooley has top recruits interested, Gruden will have the same ones interested. At this point the best way we can impress recruits is to have 8 wins with a bowl win under our belts.

Gruden would definitely make a big splash in recruiting if he were announced now, but he won't be is more along the lines of what I was saying. I want Dooley gone, I want Gruden here, but I don't think either of those things happens until after the regular season if we START winning

A radio host on 1010 in Jacksonville just said he "really thinks" Gruden is the next Tennessee coach. He said that on air during the offseason and now says he still believes it. He said he knows there have been conversations.

They were discussing each SEC hot seat. Another guy said he expects Dooley to survive the season and then be fired.

I listen to 1010 in the car every day but cannot match names with voices. I think Rick Bullough (sp) is the one who's been calling Gruden to UT, but I could be wrong.

This is the guy who was on the Sports Animal the same week that Phillips came to UT. Had to be the third week of July because I was on vacation that week.

Jimmy and John had him on to talk about the Gators and immediately after he was introduced he interrupted J&J to tell them that he did not want to talk about the Gators but about UT. He said that he had information out of Tampa that Derrrick Dooley would be fired after this season and John Gruden would be the new UT coach. I asked several people if they had heard this at the time because it was strange. John & Jimmy acted like they were taken totally off guard by the statement at the time.

He stated that JG was the next coach and that it was done. here we are a week or so later no announcement of ANYTHING just CDD all happy in his press conferance.

I think we will win out and it doesn't matter. I also thought we would beat MSU by two scores. Our coach lost by ten to the cowbells with two weeks to prepare. He is done.

Well so it starts. According to some boosters an announcement about Dooley will be made within 48 hours. Still quiet inside the ad. Strange stuff.

I dont know for sure, but im willing to bet its not good for Dooley.

Dont know. Got 2 text from co-workers within minutes of 1 another saying within 48 hours most likely. Like i said last week, alot of folks around here felt Hart had already made his decision. Sucks, was hoping Dooley would make it.

No announcement anytime soon. What im hearing is this, some boosters are trying to strong arm Hart to make a public statement about Dooley. As ive said all along, Hart most likely makes no announcement unless he has a coach ready to take the job. Ive heard some booster have been in contact with gruden, But Hart HAS NOT spoke with Gruden or his agent. Thats whats floating around the ad, dont know anymore than that.
