Umm yes it is true actually.. There have been ppl that have said it is a done deal on this site.. The only thing they weren't sure about was when it will be announced. I don't have time to dig around and find the posts, but they're here.. I'm just curious to see all the backpedaling they will come up with when nothing happens like they've said.. I wish it wasn't true, but I've been around long enough to know better, unfortunately...

Whether or not Gruden comes, the rumor/possiblity alone has given me hope in this doom and gloom Dooley era.

One way or another, I am content to wait it out.

Arkansas will not pay him a penny more than Tennessee will pay him and why would he choose a traditionless program that has had 2 decent seasons in 30 years over UT.

Not a single major network has even mentioned Arkansas as a possibility. ESPN and CBS have repeatedly mention Tenn. as a potential landing spot. And every hog fan is full of it if they believe he signed in April and timing was bad for him to coach immediately. Butch Davis is your coach, get used to it. You will have many years of 7-8 win seasons...

Morons. Have you ever thought about the fact that his wife's family is in the area as a NEGATIVE?

What if he has a bad year or two? The family starts to get heckled by fans and, what if , Gruden fails at coaching here after 4 or 5 years?

Does that mean the entire family will have to move?

You know, not everyone wants to return to their Alma Maters.

There's a reason they left in the first place.

Dooley doesn't go to HS football games. He keeps banker's hours.

We are ranked 11 out of 14 in SEC recruiting rankings....behind Ole Miss and Vandy.

He can't hold his staff together nor lead his way out of a wet paper sack.

Im not sure that's 110%.

I won't backpedal anything. If I turn out to be wrong, I will say I was wrong. I have no reason to believe that it's not going to happen. I want it to happen now like everyone else.

What are they hurting? Are u really so fragile that ppl with a different opinion make ur stay here on VN miserable? Block em if u want, but I like hearing both sides..
