However, I think that once you get into the upper echelons of sports management (or any management in general) that grudges are trumped by the almighty dollar. These are dispassionate business decisions being made, or so I would like to believe.

Ha ha - seriously. The stuff that has been spread about Dooley is ridiculous. yeah, he's not Nick Saban as a coach and he's had his struggles. But please. Do we have to pile on with all these anecdotal stories that are liekly taken out of context? Give the man a break.

He's given 110% to this program and he'll leave a much better roster in place than the one he was given, if he's fired. I, for one, will be grateful to him for taking a very crappy job nobody wanted and doing his best with it.
