maybe he will turn us into Oakland 2.0,that other team he took an aging journeyman QB and turned into a pro bowler and probably would've won a Super Bowl there if not for being traded to Tampa...I'd say he would've beat Tampa,but they would've never got there with Dungy...

Gruden's record at Tampa has been discussed here plenty of times. You take an aging team with salary cap issues and that is what you get. Of course I wouldn't expect a Dooley supporting mental midget such as yourself to grasp that.

Its going to be interesting to see if Dooley will be in fact fired on Monday. Numerous posters have said Dooley is gone Monday, we'll soon get to see who's right.

Explain to me, PLEASE....how exactly does the HC and the DC of the SAME TEAM have different parameters when it comes to spending money on their side of the ball??

FACT: Monte Kiffin took the Glazers' lack of spending, lack of putting new players in the system and on the team, and STILL put a top TEN defense on the field. Gru-bage took the SAME THING and wasn't able to break the top HALF of the NFL.

Gru-bage owes his wins at Tampa Bay to Monte Kiffin.

TIFWIIW- This morning at a hotel in Phoenix, Jon Gruden was eating breakfast and the waiter asked him what he would like to drink. JG ordered an orange juice (omg, omg, omg).

This must mean he is going to UT because he has orange on his mind! :dance2:

TIFWIW but there is a reputable poster on TOS mow saying that he is expecting an announcement either tonight or tomorrow. He also says there is 3 diff offers on the table for Gruden with varying lengths, and other stuff.
