When Grueden comes, getting loose and dropping passes won't be the issue. He will be a better play caller and will coach (unlike dooley) the team and not have dropped passes on his watch.

Now I am confused OCI.... are you saying you don't have staff information or you don? What were you being serious about and what were you not?

OCI I cannot vouch or not for you, I took a lot of what you were saying as jokes and sarcasm though. Too bad the written word loses context and tone.

With that said, I believe it was the response in recruiting of "Anything and everything" in response to the question "What did you say to get the Gruden thread so riled up".

I think a lot of people read into that as you admitting what you were saying was just to rile up this thread, when very possible you were saying "Everything riles up this thread" which is very true lol.

Old Vol not going to go back to quote your post, but the next 48-72 hours should prove very interesting. Thinking about offering Jay money to post a synopsis every 4th or 5th page lol. No way I can keep up this thread on a weekend I have so much going on lol.

What are we going to do around here next year when Gruden is our coach and there is no mention of Rommel, watering bamboo, orange ceramic dogs and tons of excuses?....oh yeah...win.

Exactly my point. I am sick of missed assignments, out of position, well.....really just sick of excuses.

I coach high school and I have always believed that if they team is doing great, it's the players.....but if they team is doing bad, it's the coach. Praise in public, criticize in private. There is only one person that has the power to fix a problem and that is on me. Every high school that I have coached at was very clear in their expectations and they have all been successful.......or else. You know that as a coach.

Gruden's staff will be composed of primarily guys that have connections to Gruden (mostly NFL), at least one current UT coach, and some elite recruiters. UT recruits nationally and Gruden wants an emphasis on plucking top talent from the West Coast. This is why Barry is a likely candidate for a big role on Gruden's staff. Martin also makes a lot of sense. It will be a dynamic staff.

Yep... I broke my laptop when SBV posted what he did, jumped up and droped it in the floor.... holding it together whith duct tape now..... or from previous discussion of the morning maybe should say duck tape
