Kick Dooley out and this is what you get. Not defending Dooley, just stating the facts. Prepare yourself for someone other than Gruden. And when he gets here, support him.

I personally wouldn't mind either of these guys. Good coaches.

Yeah, I want Gruden but those two guys can actually coach unlike Dooley. Proven winners

Dude, relax. This is the Gruden thread...of course we're all going to be Gruden supporters in here.

I'm not saying Golden and Tubberville aren't good coaches...I'm just saying they're not my first choice if Gruden doesn't work out.

According to Forbes, their stake in Pilot is worth at least $3 Billion...

Another thing to note. Pilot showed a profit of $344 million in 2010. With a 59% stake in the company, the Haslam family would have gotten around $200 million of that profit for that fiscal year. I'd say it's a safe bet that they are billionaires considering that they have been running the business since 1955.

SO They just spent a billion to buy the browns 1/3 of your running money is a big bet . Well unless of course you really want a coaching change . HMMM .

I don't think we're close yet either, but I would say the chances are higher than 5%. Especially if the reports he was interested last time are true.

He is interested. We are interested. However, only time will tell. Understand he is smart and has an ego. That means he will be happy to shop himself around.

He will leave the both because like all of us that have competition in the blood, we like the adrenaline. He is a junkie for it and it is what drives winners.

I think we are closer than most think but it is not done, yet...

Basilio says he has two sources that say people are wrong if they think we can't get him but that people are also wrong if they think we already have it done.

Yea that only left them 2 billion, poor things what will they do?

That 3 billion represents their stake in Pilot, which they have not sold to my knowledge.

I was just making a point that the family is bringing in hundreds of millions each year. No telling what else they have invested in or how much they have put back over the last 60 years.

Now, I don't know what they plan to do with their money but spending a billion when you are worth $3 billion is not that big of a deal. I mean, it's not like the Browns are going to suddenly be worth chump change next week. They would still have $2 billion in the bank.

Wrap your head around that word.....billion. One million dollars x 2,000. $2 billion = They could spend $1,000,000 per day and it would take them almost 6 years to do it.
