Really? Not doubting what you are saying... I am just wondering why he was consider Golden? Others may disagree, but I would rather have Tubberville that CDD or Golden...

I'll put it this way. I don't doubt we are pursuing Gruden. I just doubt anyone who says a deal is almost done or already is done.

I guess I shouldn't say there is no way Gruden is coming. There is probably a small chance. But I'd put the odds as being really small. Less than five percent. I think I'll be vindicated when all this is said and done.

I'd like for folks just to let this rest and enjoy the rest of the football season. Still five games to play. The AD will figure out the coaching. Let's just enjoy the season. Still lots to play for.

According to Forbes, their stake in Pilot is worth at least $3 Billion...

Another thing to note. Pilot showed a profit of $344 million in 2010. With a 59% stake in the company, the Haslam family would have gotten around $200 million of that profit for that fiscal year. I'd say it's a safe bet that they are billionaires considering that they have been running the business since 1955.

I don't think we're close yet either, but I would say the chances are higher than 5%. Especially if the reports he was interested last time are true.

Kick Dooley out and this is what you get. Not defending Dooley, just stating the facts. Prepare yourself for someone other than Gruden. And when he gets here, support him.

I personally wouldn't mind either of these guys. Good coaches.
